On behalf of the MasP Festival committee, I would like to warmly welcome all delegates and presenters to the Music as Play Festival – The toy piano takes the stage, held in Como from 6 to 7 July, 2019.
This is the first festival, entirely dedicated to the toy piano, to take place in Italy. Composers and researchers from institutions in Italy and abroad have been invited to take part with the aim of increasing the knowledge and practice of the toy piano. The programme includes recitals of new music for toy piano and papers on several toy piano topics under the umbrella of the Festival/conference.
